Charity
We offer many charitable services to help those in need, including poor children who live in remote regions, children of divorced families, orphans or children who work to earn a few cents per day, and young pregnant girls.
Tuong Lai Home, our primary facility, provides housing for orphans, poor children who cannot afford an education, and young pregnant girls. As of October of 2022, this facility is taking care of 31 children. While the Sisters care for these youths and teenagers, it is really them who give so much joy and meaning to the Sisters.

Education
We offer free boarding and educational services.
-

-

Educational Support for the Community. Many children of very poor families cannot afford an education. We support them by providing educational supplies and scholarships. Every Saturday and Sunday, we also provide basic tutoring in Math and Vietnamese.
Medical
With 10 medical 'centers' located in the remote regions of Song Phan, La Day, Da Kim, Tinh Hoa, Hiep An, Giuse, Cu Mi, Ba Bau, Tan An and Brel, the Sisters offer basic medical services including acupuncture and also distribute medicines.
Every Monday, together with the Franciscan brothers, our Sisters in the Brel community travel more than 60 kilometers to tend to about 30 Jrai lepers in the remote highlands.
Currently, every six months, we receive medical supplies for three of the 10 'centers' from the Francisian Charitable Association in the U.S. We wish that you can help to fill the other 7 centers with essential medications.

Community Support
We also purchase chickens and cows, and provide these to families with elderlies in need. With these animals, they are able to earn an income.
For example, at the end of 2021, with donations by Mr. Peter and family, we helped provide 15 families with chickens. And, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we provided food and helped with farming needs to support their families.
In addition, we provide 'job' opportunities for the deaf and mute youths and their parents by selling the items that they made as well as other items donated by patrons of Be His Helper. With the proceeds, we then provide 'salary' for youths and their parents in Vietnam. The joy of being able to contribute their time and talent, while at the same earn an income, is a precious gift.
