These are various donations (or budgetary requirements) that Be His Helper give to other groups as part of running this program. For example, as part of the first fundraiser of this program, $400 USD were given to St. Elizabeth where Be His Helper was provided with several tables to sell items handmade by the youths we serve. Of the $2,100 that were raised, $400 are given back to St. Elizabeth. Another example is when we send $500 USD to the deaf and mute youths we serve in Vietnam to 'pay' them for their time in making the items. This helps create jobs and gives more meaning to their lives, as they contribute to society while at the same time learn new skills. 'Other' also includes costs of purchasing materials, such as flowers and vases, and shipping from Vietnam.
Please note that the expenditures are never for salary. All sisters and helpers of this Be His Helper organization donate 100% of their time, talent, and treasure.
