Selling Items at Cong Doan Chua Kito Phuc Sinh Kicks off Our Efforts for Christmas Fundraising

On Saturday, December 10, 2023, Sister Hien, Sister Vinh, Mr. Trung, and Mrs. Nga start their drive at 5 am from San Jose to Stockton. Although they were tired from days of preparation, they were filled with joy and were grateful that they can get into their warm cars, dressed in warm clothes. Thinking of the poor youths in Vietnam who work 12 hours a day in the frigid weather to earn the equivalent of 10 cents USD daily, the Sisters, Trung, and Nga felt blessed. They were headed to the Cong Doan Chua Kito Phuc Sinh (CKPS), a Catholic Church in Stockton, California, in hope of raising funds to help the many youths and families in Vietnam.

And, thank you to Reverend Phaolo Tran Duc Hung, Deacon Giuse Bui Phuc, Mr. Nguyen Dung, Mr. and Mrs. Khanh, and to the generosity of the many parishioners of the CKPS Church, a total of $7,000 was raised.

During this season of advent, we are preparing for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. But we believe that His Birth would not have been meaningful if we do not try to be His helpers, to spread His message of Love to everyone.

We are truly grateful for the partnership with the Sisters of the Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of the Diocese of Phan Thiet. We are grateful for those who have helped us through their prayers and their financial contributions. While we are not able to send you a tax deductible form (as we are not yet a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization), your help is greatly appreciated as together we are on this journey to spread God's message of Love.
